I’m a writer and editor focused on covering art and culture, with an emphasis on dance. I’m currently working as an associate editor at Choices, Scholastic’s health and life-skills magazine for teens. Previously, I was the content producer of The Dance Edit newsletter. Before that, I was an editor at Pointe magazine. I’ve also served as the interim editor in chief of Dance Teacher Magazine, worked as an essay writing instructor at Writopia Lab, and taken on research and ghostwriting projects.

I’m a contributing writer at Dance Magazine, where I write a monthly cooking column. My work has also been published in Playbill, The Brooklyn Rail, New York Jewish Week, Fjord Review, JSTOR Daily, Hey Alma, Tablet, Scholastic Art, and Musical America, among others.

Originally from Amherst, MA, I hold a B.A. in Dance and English from Barnard College and an M.A. in Biography and Memoir from the CUNY Graduate Center. I live in Brooklyn, NY, with my husband and dog. When not writing, I’m an avid baker and home cook.
